Manage Video Branding
We can set up and maintain the branding used in your videos. Depending on your needs, you may have one brand or many brands.

Brand setup includes:

uploading logos

setting colors

Manage Landing-Page Branding

For People-Powered videos, when a Contributor clicks on an invitation link sent to them, they go to a Landing Page which has one or more Questions for them to answer with a recording. This page is branded and we can manage that branding, which includes your colors, fonts, background image, and logo.
Send Video Recording Requests

For People-Powered videos, Contributors are sent a link that sends them to a Landing Page which, in turn, links to our super-simple recording process. We can send out link invitations on your behalf. We can also follow up to ensure a high percentage of invitations result in recordings.
Import Video Data

AI-Generated videos use data as the basis for video content. Data includes a logo (or other image), a name (company name or person name) and a transcript (which is used for the AI-generated dialog and for the captions).

We can collect the data if it is available via a website, or organize the data if it is in a combination of delimited (i.e. spreadsheet) format and image files.
Produce Videos

We can produce videos on your behalf, both People-Powered and AI-Generated. For People-Powered videos, we can also double-check the accuracy of the automatic captioning system for misspellings.

We will create videos using your approved branding and in the appropriate formats for how you plan to have them shared. After they are created, you will have mp5 video file assets that can be shared or repurposed by you in any way you wish.

People-Powered Videos
Branded Landing Page

For People-Powered videos, when a Contributor clicks on a record invitation link sent to them, they go to a Landing Page which has one or more Questions for them to answer with a recording. This page is branded with background image, colors, fonts, and a logo.
AI-Generated Videos
AI-Generated Videos are dynamically created videos using three data elements:
Image File (typically a logo)
Name (company or person)
Dialog (text that will be read using AI voice)
The vidoes are produced using an existing brand. AnswerStage’s Video Production System can create hundreds of these videos at a time.
Video Branding
All videos are produced using a particular brand. Depending on your needs, you may have one brand or many brands.

Multi-Person Videos

Each template can support multiple responses from one or more Contributors. AnswerStage also has a template which has been optimized for multi-person applications, as it shows thumbnails of all Contributors in between responses and animates their response directly from those thumbnails.
Question Links

Contributors are invited to record a response video by sending them a simple link (via email text, etc.).

When Contributors click on the link, they are taken to a branded landing page. The landing page can display one or more questions. When they choose a question, their camera and microphone are turned on and they go through the super-simple recording process, which allows them to re-record until they are happy with their response.
Audio-Only Responses

With a People-Powered video, there are situations when a Contributor may not want or be able to record a video, and an audio recording will be sufficient. Perhaps the Contributor is video-hesitant or otherwise not ready to appear on camera.

For these situations, AnswerStage offers Audio-Only capability, where the Contributor chooses to record an audio response.

Audio-Only capabilities must be enabled for the Question Link.

Once included in a production video, an audio response will appear as either a profile icon with the Contributor’s initials, or if provided, the Contributor’s thumbnail photo. In both cases, an audio waveform will animate over them, so there is always some motion visible during the response.
Custom Video Intros and Outros
By default, AnswerStage videos have an Intro animation that includes the brand’s logo, and if it is specified during production, the video’s title. There are two overrides that can be configured for the Intro:

Omit Intro – when this is chosen, the video begins with the display of the first question.

Video Intro Snippet – this replaces the default animation with a custom video snippet. For videos that include a title, the position and timing of the title animation overlaying the video snippet can also be specified.

Similarly, the Outro default animation, which also includes the logo and optional title, can be replaced with an Outro Video Snippet.
Automatic Transcription
Captioning

When a video is produced, captioning can be enabled. Captions are great for social services that auto-play videos muted, as the viewer can still follow along. Captions also help viewers with hearing impairment.

The text for captions is generated automatically. Captions can be reviewed and edited before producing a video.
API Integration
AnswerStage has built a robust set of REST APIs to support integration with the platform (see our documentation).
